Name Sarah Hunter COLE Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1819 London, Middlesex, England - From the 1841 census where shown as aged 23 and the 1871 census where shown as aged 51. Also from age at death, shown as 61 (in burial register).
Sarah's father is named differently on her 2 marriage certificates. The names may reflect biological father and step-father, or one or both may be invented. The fact two names appear suggests she was probably born illegitimate, with Cole as her mother's surname at the time of her birth, and Hunter as her biological father's surname, but there are several other possibilities / explanations.

George and Sarah signed, witnesses were William Beacon and Mary Ann Beacon; who also both signed. I believe the signatures are those of George's brother William and William's wife, comparing them with their signatures when they married (the register does not show if marriages were by licence or after Banns). Their father was recorded as 'Gentleman' on both occasions.
