    • No baptism in Bishopsbourne of the one who married there, no other marriage or burial that could be the one baptised in Stowting, on the index on FMP as of 14 Nov 2020, hence I think it was probably the one baptised at Stowting who married at Bishopbourne.

    Notes
    • An infant name Mary was bur 10 Nov 1731 acc to KFHS transcript for Bishopsbourne, I guess this may have been another child of Matthew's

Also a 55 yr old Mary was bur 23 July 1752 - possibly Matthew's wife

It seems Lucas could be a Walloon / Huguenot name - a James Lekeux was amongst those paying the hearth tax in Canterbury in 1644.
    • (Research):Two children of William and Mary of Lower Hardres were buried here, in John in 1698 and Thomas in 1704 i.e. about the right time for Matthew also to be a son of Wm and Mary of L Hardres. But there may have been a lot of Lucas families in the area, and this be chance - I don't know.
