Name Mary PEPPERELL Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised 3 Nov 1726 St. James’ Church, Slapton, Devon, England [1] - From IGI
Gender Female Buried 20 Feb 1799 St. James’ Church, Slapton, Devon, England - I think the burial was probably this Mary, due to the last baptism of a child being in Sherford, where the PR showed her as 'of' when she died, but she must have had links with Slapton to be buried there.
Also, I can't find another Mary whose burial this is likely to have been.

Family Robert PEPPERELL, bap. 22 Feb 1731/32, St. Michael and All Angels’ Church, Stokenham, Devon, England , d. Yes, date unknown Married 6 Mar 1757 St. Michael and All Angels’ Church, Stokenham, Devon, England - Robert and Mary were both shown as 'of this Parish', married by Banns, Robert signed, Mary made her mark, witnesses were Simon PEPPERELL and John Hext (both signed; I believe John Hext was Parish Clerk at this time).
Despite the growing number of Pepperells in the area these 2 first cousins seem to be the only Mary and Robert who could have married in this year - unless it was a widow / widower marrying (the PR entry doesn't show marital status).
This Robert had a brother Simon who presumably was the one who witnessed the wedding.
A Sally dau of a Robert and Mary was baptised in 1776. Six years without children (or baptised elsewhere) and then another? or a different Robert and Mary? Now the gap is down to 6 years I think it probably was this couple.
If it was this couple I suspect that the Mary who married Robert was a different one, a widow, and not the one shown here.
