Portelli Guest House - Guest Book
The guest book for the Guest House my great grandmother ran, with the assistance of my great aunt Ivy, in Dartmouth for 3 years from early 1918 to early 1921. Visitors included Prince George (the future Duke of Kent) who was then studying at the College, and Peter Rabbit (do look at page 12 to see his entry and mark)! My great grandfather was offered the opportunity to take electricity to Boston. The thought of a new life in America was too much to resist. And so they moved from Dartmouth and spent the rest of their days in Lincolnshire!
