Abigail

Name Abigail Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Gender Female Will 2 Nov 1694 Written - Adam describes himself as 'Clerke' in his will, which at this time usually meant he was a priest. The CCEd website does not appear to have any data on Adam, at least not under Faversham, and not indexed (not all data is indexed by surname at the time or writing, 30 Nov 2015). The fact the burial register describes him as a gentleman suggests he may have had independent means and have not been working, which could be why there is no data for him on CCEd.

Family 2 Michael RICKSON, b. Est 1635, d. Abt Nov 1721, Faversham, Kent, England (Age ~ 86 years)
Other Partners: Dorothy WHITLOCKE m. 10 Oct 1659; Susanna HOMERSHAM m. 27 Jan 1680/81; Mary m. 21 Aug 1681Married 26 Apr 1698 All Saints’ Church, Canterbury, Kent, England [2] - This marriage was of a widower Michael who I think must be this Michael. Not only have I found a burial for the previous wife of this Michael before this date, but I think the only other Michael Rickson in the area at this time was the son of this Michael. The wife (widow) of this other Michael left a will from which it is clear she hadn't died by the time this marriage took place.
Marriage License 26 Apr 1698 Canterbury, Kent, England - Rixon, (Rickson), Michael, widr., and Abigail Beaty, w., both of Faversham. At Ospringe, Sheldwich or All Sts., Cant. April 26, 1698.
