The fact the burial register describes him as a gentleman suggests he may have had independent means and have not been working, which could be why there is no data for him on CCEd.

Not only have I found a burial for the previous wife of this Michael before this date, but I think the only other Michael Rickson in the area at this time was the son of this Michael. The wife (widow) of this other Michael left a will from which it is clear she hadn't died by the time this marriage took place.
