Susanna JOHNSON, b. Abt 1772, Newnham, Kent, England , d. 12 Mar 1861, West Street, Faversham, Kent, England (Age ~ 89 years) (Mother)Notes - (Research):I thought the Wm who married Elizabeth and lived in Faversham was this one when I only knew of children born from 1822. Having found the earlier ones and the 1815 marriage, which does not show William as a minor, I wonder if I have attached this family to the wrong William. However, Elizabeth was a widow by 1851, and one of the 1850 burials of a William in Faversham shows the right age for this William. In addition the burial register shows William was of West Street, where he was living with his family in 1841, and where they still lived at the time of the 1851 census. In 1851 his brother Edward and family were the next census entry.
I suspect he may simply have kept quiet about being a minor, or the priest failed to note it in the register.
